Friends Forever Childcare Centre provides the perfect environment for your child to learn and grow. Our curriculum is designed to be child-led, allowing children to discover the world around them at their own pace – helping develop their confidence and providing them with the skills they need to flourish.
Partnering up with our Agency whether that is starting from scratch to open a home childcare or you are already running a private home and would like to become licensed. Our Environment
Friends Forever Childcare Centre strives to develop an inclusive environment and provides opportunities for structured and unstructured play. In indoor and outdoor settings, your child will engage in arts and crafts, stories, music, self-care and much more. We support each child’s uniqueness and encourage them to interact with their peers – helping them make friends and nurturing their social skills.
Fuel for Learning
Additionally, we understand that healthy eating is essential to fuel a child’s development, which is why we develop nutritious menu items that are curated to each child’s specific allergy constraints – allowing them to feel included while continuing to eat a wholesome, balanced diet.

At Friends Forever Childcare Centre we believe all children can benefit from an early childhood education that is designed to promote their individual needs and, as one of Ontario’s premier childcare centres, it’s our mission to facilitate your child’s personal development in all areas.
Friends Forever staff strive to create a safe, home-like atmosphere with appropriate role modeling and positive reinforcement that allows your child to learn through play and enhance their understanding of the world around them. Along with as-needed emotional support, our approach enhances a child’s self-esteem, and improves their ability to self-regulate. Through this, your child can feel confident in their ability to accomplish anything.
Meet our
Executive Director
Melanie Ross is the mother of two and has successfully dedicated herself to fostering the development of young children throughout her entire career. She received her Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) from Cambrian College before attending Niagara College where she earned a post-graduate certificate for ECE Resource Teachers.
Prior to opening Friends Forever Childcare Centre, Melanie passionately worked with children in various roles at other daycare centres and as a one-on-one support resource for children with autism.

North Bay Centre
Opened in 2014, our North Bay Centre offers 7 programs with passionate educators that help shape the lives of children in fun and respectful ways.
North Bay Home Agency
Our Home Agencies are operated by kind, and qualified individuals with a passion for working with children.
Timmins Centre
Initially opening as Bambi’s Castle in 1972, our Timmins Centre has enjoyed a long history of providing excellent childcare to the City of Timmins, before being acquired by Friends Forever Childcare Centre in 2018.
Nutrition and Health
We accommodate all food restrictions and allergies by providing alternative meals for those who can’t eat what is scheduled to be served on the menu. The menu is looked over and approved by our Health Unit. For more information, check out our Menu Guidelines
Trained Providers
All of our providers have completed the same rigorous screening process, hold up-to-date CPR and First Aid certifications, and have completed Police Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks with the North Bay Police Service. Beyond these qualifications, our Providers are committed to on-going training and development to ensure they stay up to date with developments in the childcare field.
